Remember this one? Maybe you don’t. It was only around for 1 season. At first I had high hopes for it; after all it had one thing going for it: DINOSAURS! After all any shows that had CGI Dinos could not be all bad could it? Well it could. The show’s premise was better than the show! That premise was Earth in the future; an earth that is so polluted that people have to live under domes. Oh and families are strictly limited to 2 children per family – or else. Or else what? Or else the father goes to prison. Now that in itself might make a good premise.
But the show quickly left that scene and moved back some 80 million years in time to live in Terra Nova. The show descends into the usual political quagmire that occurs when you put more than 5 people together. And that could have even been made into an interesting plot. But they chose the more mundane and sophomoric plot sequences and dialogs. I think that is what made people lose interest very quickly. So why am I bothering with it since it’s been canceled? According to the Wiki article, “Fox is shopping it around for a buyer”. No takers so far. No surprise there.
